River Landing Project
Canadian Tarpaulin was chosen by the City of Saskatoon to help design and produce custom sun shades for the acclaimed River Landing project. The sun shades are made of a high density polyethylene shade fabric designed specifically for large tension membrane structures and architectural shade sails. These sun shades provide shaded areas for the public to enjoy and add a colourful addition to the already beautiful River Landing.
Visit the City of Saskatoon site for more photos of our shades at River Landing.

GeoDome Project
The custom fabric covers for these spherical Geo (Geodesic) Domes require complex custom design to ensure the perfect contoured fit. A premium 5.7 oz. (11 mil), reinforced woven translucent fabric is used. The fabric is virgin polyethylene with high levels of UV inhibitors in the tapes and coating that results in a material that starts strong and stays strong in all weather conditions.
Custom Winter Fronts
The product that has taken Western Canada by storm over the past few years is the Arctic Shield Winter Front. In recent years CTM has barely been able to keep up with demand and it has led to an initiative that is just took place; it’s the summer winter front booking program, where truck dealers book their orders July in order to guarantee supply of product for the winter.
Winter fronts have been used by truckers for many years to keep engines warm and to maximize fuel mileage during winter months. CTM’s winter fronts are made in Canada and are available in an attractive padded design. They are form fitted for a perfect fit and are available in custom colours to match any truck colour. CTM has patterns on hand for virtually all truck grill types.
